Make it Central is already making waves on the national stage.

Central Coast Council’s investment attraction website has been nominated in the Regional Growth category of the 2026 National Awards for Local Government. It is the first platform of its kind in Tasmania, designed to showcase the Central Coast as a place to live, work and invest.

This nomination is recognition of the work being done across our region. Local businesses, industry and community all play a role in shaping the story we are telling and the future we are building.

Now we have the opportunity to take that story further.

Voting is open, and we are asking our community, businesses and supporters to get behind Make it Central and help share what makes this region stand out.

Visit the National Awards for Local Government voting page and follow the prompts to cast your vote. You will need to create a login to participate.

Voting is open from 9.00am AEST on Tuesday 7 April 2026 and closes at 11.55pm AEST on Monday 4 May 2026. Each person can vote once per category.
